i'm signing up for scholorships and i wanna major in something that involves makeup and hair, but mostly makeupDoes cosmetology involve makeup or just hair?
Cosmetology is hair, skin %26amp; nails. It's the entire beauty gamet.


Many states allow you to specialize in only skin or nails. But as far as hair, you have to complete a full cosmetology course, that includes everything.Does cosmetology involve makeup or just hair?
It involves makeup, hair, and nails... Instead of going to school for Cosmetology...just go take some freelance makeup and hair classes....

cosmetology is both, but you want to check with the school you're looking at to see what they focus on. It may also include hair removal and nails. Different programs focus on different areas, but as a rule cosmetology includes hair, makeup, nails and hair removal.
