What is a good creative makeup look for someone with fair skin, brown hair and eyes?

well first, fair skin rules! stay out of the tanning booth and away from the beach! treat your skin like a newborn baby and moisturize and it will improve your appearance more than makeup can. you're at the age when hormones can wreak havoc with your skin, so be vigilant. depending on your bone structure you shouldn't need much blush with fair skin; a consultant at the mall might be better able to advise with that. i also have fair skin and very sensitive skin, so i use the physician's formula talc-free blush in light pink. i have a relatively broad face with pretty good bones, so i don't need much color.


as for coloring overall, i don't like browns or beiges on anyone. i like bright colors and contrast. i know pale lips are the trend these days, but i never thought it looked good on anyone. the lips are the sexiest part of the face, so why not show them off huh? i would recommend a medium to dark pink up to a medium red. red is a classic for a reason--it looks good, and guys respond to it! although if you're in middle or high school it might leave you open to criticism from your parents, teachers, schoolmates, etc., so you'll have to think about that. maybe stick with a medium pink during the day and be bolder when you go out at night. you could even go with a medium blue or kelly green, but avoid darks of any color or black. for the life of me i don't know why women wear brown lipstick or even the so-called berry colors that pretend to be shades of red but really have more brown than red. it looks horrible on every woman i've ever seen, and with brown hair and eyes you don't need more brown anyway.


as for eye shadow, i am picturing you in silver and metallic teal. i love metallics, silver and gold, etc., and bright colors. i like to do all kinds of crazy things but mostly during the day i don't wear much at school. the best advice i can give is to go to flickr.com and search for 'panda cat baby'. she's so amaaaazing! she does the most creative things with makeup, mostly eyes. i discovered her about a year ago and i always go there for fun ideas. plus, she's got brown hair and eyes and medium-fair skin! so you can try different things, take pix, and post them on here for us y!ahoos to evaluate! have fun!
