Doing your hair with things such as gel, hair straightener, curly iron..etc can mess up an already made face.What should be done first, hair or makeup?

by the time your hair finishes your makeup could start smearing.
I was in a wedding and the hair ppl were late so i had to get my make up done first
about mid way thru the reception i was beginning to get raccoon eyes it was awful

face, my very high maintenance grandma explained this to me when I was 12 a) your hair could get in the way b) you won't be happy with your hair if its not framing the face that you are using for the day. c) you pretty much know what you want to do with your face, so you can spend all the extra time on your hair....just as an extra, to make perfume go further, mix a little with some unscented lotion....
Usually your hair takes longer to do so that's generally 1st cab off the rank. Then your make-up
