Hair and makeup for an alien costume?

i'm going to be an alien for halloween... more like a space girl. I know what i'm wearing (a cute shiny pink dress, bright tights, pointy shoes, glowstick bracelettes, antennae, etc.) but i don't know what to do with my hair and make up! I want to do my hair kind of to one side, but i don't really know and i can't find any pictures. and i know my make up should be bright, but i don't know like what. does anyone have any ideas for my hair and makeup, or any ideas in general? thankks!Hair and makeup for an alien costume?
Neon colors, glitter (put it on after you apply your make-up), glow-stick jewelry, cute little temporary tattoos (try one on one side of your face - it looks cool!), multiple rings on your fingers (those twisty wire ones with beads are great), temporary neon highlights in your hair, fake eyelashes with tiny rhinestones attached to the corners (some Wal-Marts carry those), a visor to fit around your antennae, specialty or holiday-themed ponytail holders with charms and streamers, etc.... You could try doing two (or more) ponytails in different styles (like, curled on one side, straight on the other side, and crimped in the center). L'Oreal is making these cool eye-shadows now - they combine two different colors, and they look really dramatic!Hair and makeup for an alien costume?

for the make up, i'd recommend





-lots of silver eyeshadow on your inner corners and framing the bottom lash line.


-long, dramatic fake eyelashes. they'd look amazing!!


-pale complexion


-extremely frosty lips (try a couple layers of Rimmel's ';Airy Fairy'; lipstick if you want to go cheaper. It's beautiful with peachy gold shimmer to it and you can still wear it regularly with just one coat)

Try some neon colored eyeshadow, maybe lime green or bright pink, and maybe some glitter! if i were you i would put my hair up in a high, tight ponytail, or a high tight side ponytail. And try painting your fingernails a fun color.
