Luckily, there are lots of companies that specialize in natural and organic producs.
I would start by doing a search on sites like Amazon, Drugstore.com, Sephora, etc. They usually have a seperate category for natural and eco-friendly products. That way, you will have access to product reviews and ingredient lists.
I would also suggest looking into health food stores and co-ops in your area. They might have a nice selection and the employees should be able to offer suggestions.
One last thing: sometimes ';products'; aren't really necessary. There are many totally natural things that you can use. For example, jojoba or coconut oil are good for treating dry frizzy hair, baking soda makes a nice facial scrub, and essential oils can be used to make your own perfumes.
Have fun with your research, and good luck!If I were to make an effort to go ';all natural'; with my daily routine (showering, doing my hair and makeup)?
You need to read ';Back to Eden'; you will find that you need very few ';products'; to maintain your health and beauty. ';All Natural'; would mean no products wouldn't it? I stopped using my blow dryer and hair color about a year ago - it's been tough...I have very curly hair and live in a humid climate :D but I have learned to love my natural curls and even the gray - I really feel a lot better about myself and my hair is 1000 times healthier! It feels good to know that I have reduced the amount of carbon emissions from my blow dryer (imagine if even half the users stopped!), trash from packaging and money spent on junk I don't need.
I have this secret wish to have everyone stop using this junk and grow their hair like the hippies did during the Vietnam war - as a protest to the destruction of our environment - do it until an honest and concerted effort is made to reduce global warming! Anyone else with me?
Well to go ALL natural, you'd have to give up makeup completely! Haha. But if I were you, I'd look towards Physician's Formula, they do a great job at using natural minerals in an affordable price range. For hair, it's harder to find natural hair products. Try a local health food store, or the ';nature'; section of your grocery store, if it has one. As for showering, there are many herbal shampoos and conditioners which treat your hair the same, if not better, than regular hair products. Good Luck!
The Quakers have many excellent products.
try ayurvedic products from india .traditional indians have been using them since centuries
