How can i straighten my hair and wear makeup when camping?? please help!!!?

Im going camping for a few days and the only thing I'm worried about is my boyfriend seeing me without makeup and my hair not straightened. I take forever to get ready and look nice for him but they said they don't know how I'm going to do it. Noone's ever seen me without makeup and I would feel so insecure around everyone like that?? Should I bring a mirror? Please help me I'm so worried!!!!!!!How can i straighten my hair and wear makeup when camping?? please help!!!?
Well, the make-up might be possible, but the straightening probably not since there most likely will not be any electricity. When my boyfriend and I first started dating I was the same way too. The first time he saw me in sweats and no make-up he was like wow you look great! I laughed because I thought he was kidding, but he said he really liked to see the real me. So give it a try, and if he really is that shallow that he only wants to see you with make-up and straight hair he's probably not worth your time.How can i straighten my hair and wear makeup when camping?? please help!!!?

If it's really concerning you, bring a small mirror and some makeup essentials (dont bring all of your makeup, afterall it is camping). And as far as straightening goes, if you dont have power, you have have to go natural. If you have a curl or natural wave to your hair, you could just add some mousse and then let it dry naturally, so that its not all frizzy, or even do a cute hair style with it up.

Put your hair in a ponytail, or some cute little braided pigtails. If you want to dress it up a bit, bring a couple pieces of ribbon and tie a bow in your ponytail, or at the ends of your pigtails.





For makeup, bring a little mirror, and the basics: Mascara (waterproof if you intend on going swimming, which you should.) a lip balm with SPF (like Burt's Bees!) and a tinted moisturizer/liquid/powder foundation with SPF. It should be enough to even your skin out and keep you feeling confident. It's hard to go from wearing a full face of makeup to wearing no makeup at all so quickly. I totally know how you feel.





Everybody else has a point here too, honey. Your boyfriend knows you care about him, and you should know that he cares about you too. If he thinks you're beautiful (which I'm sure he does) it's because he sees all of you, not just the makeup. I don't think he'll mind seeing you without makeup and straight hair for a couple days. I'm sure he'll be happy enough just to have you there with him. :) Don't get caught up in looking good. You've got that on lockdown to begin with! Focus on having a good time.
I went through the saaame thing!! My camp site actually had a bathroom where I could straighten my hair.. but really, it was so humid in there it didnt make one bit of difference. I actually found this tutorial on YouTube where you take your hair and put it into a ponytail, and grab your hair like you were going to tighten the ponytail..then pull it upppp upp upp.. Just keep going up until it wont go up anymore.. Apply maybe some Aussie Sprunch spray to it because its intended to be a cute messy look. I usually dont apply like, flowers or anything to my hair, but I did the first day I tried this look and I got soo many compliments on it. It really looked cute, but messy at the same time. Kind of like I didnt give a crap, but I did! :) I would definitley take a mirror with you.. Put on some foundation at the very least (that was my biggest thing).. and if you want some eyeshadow too.. bring it with you. I understand about you being insecure.. I was too!! It'll be alright.. you can make this work! Plus.. if you're going to be swimming, you can always get some sea salt mist, and spray it in your wet hair and it'll give you beautiful beachy waves! Its a very sexy look.. and yet so simple (the perfect look for camping!) I hope this helps you! Have fun! :)
lol well this is good because your boyfriend sould love you know matter wat you look like my boyfriend has seen me with eyeliner dripping and my hair frizzy as **** (i ffeel asleep on are way home and he saw me when i woke up) i didnt care because i know he loves me....and plus if hes seen good sides of u then he knows wat u look like so just wake up and put eyeliner on and if your hair is curly then scrunch it or put it up or in a side pony tail( or braid it it will look woodsy lol)....and wear extra cute outfits to make up for the hair and makeup lol

no the point of camping is for rich people to pretend there poor for the weekend. wouldn't it just wash off when you go swimming and stuff anyway?
Well, you can wear water-proof make up or something and for your hair, I suggest just getting a re bond since i doubt that there would be any sort of electric outlet for your hair straightener.
dont worry about it he should like you natural as well. you can still put on makeup but really just focus on smelling good you can get pretty hot and sweaty out there.

Camping is meant to be relaxing, casual and fuss free. If you are very insecure, then take a small bag of essentials and pare down your look to a few basics, maybe a bit of powder, a light dust of eye shadow a brush of waterproof mascara and no more. Do be sure to wear a lip gloss or balm with UVA/UVB sunscreen, this is extremely important. use a moisturizer with sunscreen on your face, also important. Don't wear perfumes, body sprays, or scented lotions and moisturizers. You will attract biting and stinging insects because you will smell like a flower. As for the hair, don't worry about it. Let it go natural, you can have a wild and untamed jungle girl look, guys like that and who knows, you might find you like that look better, too. Be aware that make-up will not last while hiking, biking, canoing, swimming, etc. Maybe you should try to take a vacation from your rigid hair and make-up routine, you might enjoy yourself more if you worry about your appearance less. You're probably fine without make-up, you just don't realize it. Remember, no one else will be made up or doing their hair either.

These are girls that plant themselves in the campground washroom in front of the mirrors for at least two hours every morning, They spend so much time focused on themselves they miss out on all the fun. Try not to focus on outside appearance and open yourself up to some new and interesting experiences.
