I have no idea what to wear to homecoming! I need a whole look: dress, shoes, jewelry, makeup, hair-- thanks!?

I have tan skin, long dark brown hair, brown eyes, and I'm short and thin. Homecoming is formal- like batmitsvah attire- so definitely a dress (preferable short because of the occassion), and definitely heels so I have some extra height. I love all colors too! I'm okay with spending money, but I'd rather not spend more than 150 on a dress, or more than 70 on shoes. k, THANKKSSSS! =) =)I have no idea what to wear to homecoming! Get a dress that hits just below the knee (long enough to be classy without getting in the way of walking/dancing). Go with a simple neckline, maybe strapless, in a solid color (I love yellow, but it's more of a spring color than a fall color) and really play up the accessories, maybe with a big rhinestone necklace and big earrings. Heels should definitely be at least 3 inches if the dress hits below the knee (which tends to shorten your legs, the heels will counter this) in a color that is complementary to the dress (neutral if the dress is a bright color, bright if the dress is neutral). I love the look of a black and white patterned dress with red heels.

For example:

This cut is good for shorter legs but not too short, the neckline allows for accessorizing, and ruching (in this case on both sides) is flattering on any body type and helps to hide a less-than-perfect stomach.

Try to avoid satin and shiny fabrics that don't have ruching over the abdomen...you have to have a flawless body to pull that off, otherwise the light that is reflected accentuates EVERY curve you have (good OR bad).

Good luck!
