I want to know what the hair and makeup was like for a masquerade in the 18th century?

probably something like Marie Antoinette would do or wear, google pictures of herI want to know what the hair and makeup was like for a masquerade in the 18th century?
I would look to Marie Antoinette for that kind of style. Big white hair, sometimes wigs. Here's a couple of pics of Kirsten Dunst playing her:

they wore huge wigs, usually in white. and on their face they wore lots of white, pale powder, almost like a gothic look. they had big red lips. also a mole was sometimes drawn on the face like a beauty mark. like other people have said, something like in phantom of the opera or what marie antionette would wear. here are some links:

Yes, like Marie Antionette , white wig and very pale make-up,nearly white and little cherub-red-lips !

Have fun !
watch The Phantom of the Opera. There's actually a scene with a masquerade in it.
Loads of white powder, red funny drawn puckered lips, big massive wigs - white (sometimes had mice and insects living in them)! A black mole drawn somewhere on the face...a show made of the bust..
They wore alot of wigs such as powered wigs!
Try to goggle it!
