80s punk hair and makeup help?

i am going to an 80s party tomo as a punk. ive got a crazy dress and accesseries but im not sure how to style my hair or makeup.my hair is long brown and curly with a fringe i dont wont to cut or dye it any ideas.also what type of makeup would look cool : )

Give your hair all the lift it can handle and use a lot of hair spray. you might add a strip of red or blue temp dye on one side. spike the front up spray and add some glitter. Hair: Lots of gel! Slick the sides of your hair back and tease the rest so it's big and poofy! The bigger the better.


Make up: It was all about matching and color. Gosh, I remember purple eye shadow, I wore that color out! And don't forget the fushia lip stick!

Try a banana clip (if you know what that is!) to give yourself a pseudo-mohawk. I did that in the 80s.





Use bright colored makeup, several different ones on the eyes.
Spike it up with egg yolk and spit.


Put safety pins EVERYWHERE!


Thick eyeliner.


Purple lips?


Union jack shirt?
just get a ton of gel and spike it in all directions
