Semi outfit help - black dress but makeup/hair/shoes?

for my semi im wearing a black strapless dress thats got kinda layers that go down diagonally and its from seduce. Im thinking of wearing purple shoes and clutch. what kind of shoes should i wear or colour? if i wore purple shoes what kind of makeup/hair do i do? thanksSemi outfit help - black dress but makeup/hair/shoes?

if you do go with purple shoes and clutch (cute btw) just make sure you dont over do the purple and make it all.. like matchy.. because then it will cheapen the look of your outfit you know?





whats always hot with a black dress though are metallics. so like silver/gold/bronze heels are always hot.


red always stand out as well





purple shoes... how much purple is on them? and the clutch? cuz seriously dont over dothe purple. but i agree. add some purple to your eyeshadow. obviously dont go in looking like a grape. do a smoky eye with the purple and use white and black shades. :)





hair.. either keep it straight or put half up with some backcombing

If you have a purple clutch then I would say yes to the purple shoes or black shoes with some sort of purple trim on them.





For your hair.....I don't think that matters, just keep your regular style.





For make up, I'd say wear neutral colors-- whatever suits your skin type the best. If you want to keep with the purple theme and want to make a bolder statement then wear purple eyeshadow. If you go with the purple eye shadow have the eye shadow flare out from the end corner of your eyes (so it makes a small triangle out from the corners.)


I think this would make for a great look and a well put together theme.

Hey thanks Nik......I guess I should have added that all the purples should match too!.....(but I thought you'd know that already) I like the matching theme, and think that it is pulled off well by girls. And after I posted this I thought more of the hair....and agree with nik.....keeping it straight will be a good look...
